Our Activity

Green Park has a dedicated activity co-ordinator to ensure that there's always something to get involved in. We take the time to welcome all of our new residents and find out exactly what sort of activities they enjoy, and also suggest some they might like to consider.
All of our events are designed to help and encourage those that are less-able, so no one should feel left out. Some examples of activities available in the home include quizzes, bingo, sing-alongs and regular visits from local entertainers. We also welcome residents’ friends and family to join in activities with us, whether that's inside the home or on one of our trips out.

A two course home cooked lunch, with alternatives, is served daily and is prepared by our experienced cook on the premises. Refreshments, such as tea, coffee and juice as well as home baked cakes and biscuits are available throughout the day. We also provide assisted bathing and hairdressing if requested.

All our staff are fully qualified in health and social care and have a clean record with the Disclosure and Barring Service. We ensure that all staff are up-to-date with their regular mandatory training, such as first aid, manual handling, health & safety, safeguarding of vulnerable adults, food & basic hygiene, medication, etc.​
